LEDs themselves are already energy-efficient, but by controlling the lighting, even more energy savings can be achieved without compromising the required light levels. Almost all of Lumous Lighting\u2019s fixtures can be equipped with ON\/OFF control, pre-set dimming profiles, or DALI\/Zhaga control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In RGBW models, smart control also allows for adjusting the light color in addition to light efficiency. This enables more artistic lighting solutions, for example, in parks and facade lighting. Moreover, according to many studies, reducing certain light wavelengths during nighttime is beneficial for both humans and animals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VP1012 – High-efficiency highway light<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The latest fixture in Lumous Lighting\u2019s range, the VP1012, is designed especially for areas requiring high light output. It is ideal for lighting large areas such as highways. The VP1012 fixture can be used both in new installations and to replace old mercury vapor lamps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The VP1012\u2019s light output and color can be adjusted with DALI control, as well as with many modern Zhaga nodes. The product is available in various light colors and combinations. The light color can thus be adjusted based on the time of day, for example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

High-quality materials, high luminous efficiency, and low maintenance requirements keep the VP1012\u2019s lifecycle costs low.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Safety and intelligence in Pieks\u00e4m\u00e4ki<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For instance, the city center of Pieks\u00e4m\u00e4ki has transitioned to intelligent lighting. In the renovation of the main street\u2019s lighting, the old lamp posts were preserved, but the lamps were replaced with Lumous Lighting\u2019s LED fixtures.
